Partnering with Pill Donors to Provide Medication
One of Cedars' primary objectives since its inception has been to address the escalating prices of pharmaceutical products and medication shortages in Lebanon. We are thrilled to partner with Pill Donors, a nonprofit organization in Lebanon, managed by a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing medicines to families in need. Their process involves researching the families' situations, receiving prescriptions for the required medications, and conducting tests if necessary. From the start of their operations, they have compiled a list of beneficiaries they assist monthly. This list, along with the required medications and receipts, is shared with donors. Pill Donors collaborates with various NGOs in Lebanon, including Sesobel, Live Love Beirut, People to People, and more, to identify and support those in need.

Tuition Assistance with Heart of Youth

Education is a fundamental human right, yet many students around the world face financial barriers that prevent them from pursuing their dreams. Through your generous contributions and in partnership with Heart of Youth, an NGO located in Lebanon, a significant impact has been made in easing financial burdens for three students amid unforeseen challenges. This assistance allows them to pursue academic excellence without hindrance. Your support has created opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, contributing to the broader goal of fostering educational empowerment in Lebanon. As we mark this achievement, your ongoing support guarantees the establishment of a community where aspirations thrive.
Cancer Support Fund at the American University of Beirut Medical Center
The Cancer Support Fund at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) is steadfast in its commitment to offer financial assistance to cancer patients. Patients across Lebanon seek treatment at AUBMC, serving as the primary Cancer Center for 40% of the country's oncology cases. Donations play a crucial role in covering various aspects of patient care, including chemotherapy, hospital admission fees, blood research, radiotherapy, and oncology operations - addressing everything from hospitalization costs to follow-up diagnostics. Given the current economic challenges in the country, the need for our help has become increasingly pressing. Cedars Samaritan Care is dedicated to support this profound initiative and contribute to its enduring mission.
